I went in to this dealership only to see what late model civics they had available. Ken took me in to see some on their "internal" computer because they claim to have several dealerships. He kept pulling up new hondas and said "I have the car for you". It was a brand new civic. What did he not understand when I told him I do not want a new car? Then he tells me that in order to run my credit he needs a deposit because the banks like to see some money down, even though I said I AM NOT PUTTING MONEY DOWN. Then told me he lost 7 deals not putting a deposit down and he was not going to run my credit and basically told me to leave if I wasn't going to do as he says. ????? Then another manager or whatever he is trys to come over and get us to follow through. Stay away from these shady people and their shady business practices. I couldn't run out fast enough.

recall

I went to Honda of Mentor in good faith to have some recall work done on my Honda Civic. Honda of Mentor tried to charge me for it. This work was suppose to be free of charge to me. The Honda company was suppose to pay for this since it was a recall. I went to a different Honda dealer to have it done. I will never go to Honda of Mentor again for anything. I tried to straiten out the situation with them explaining that it was a recall issue. I even had the paper work stating that the problem was a recall. They were unapologetic and unhelpful.

autoway honda 17275 us 19 north clearwater florida.....stay away from this business, there shady, business ethics are to sell vehicles any cheating, lying, dirty-glass way they can in order to sell a car with no reguards towards the customers. stay clear of shane rochester if hes still there as these are his type of sales tactics. the dealership doesnt stand behind there customers, they believe the customer is always wrong, and dont believe there "money back guarentee" all that is ..is a guarenteed bunch of bullshoot to make you feel better at the time of slaughter. this dealership should be investigated for poor business ethics, fraudulant sales tactics, scams involving the sales of cars belonging to employees ....that are mechanical lemons/ or recalled vehicles that are bad. if they tell you...that you need extra warranty in order to get the bank loan....please call that bank and ask because its not true, its a scam to push the extra price on you. i hope dan marino reads this note so that he doesnt let autoway nation headquartered in ft.luaderdale fl, or autoway honda of clearwater us 19 north use his honest name like that. if you do business here be prepared to have your own saftey contract wrritten out, and have them sign it and notorise it,... to protect yourself from them when they try to cheat you and not honor there written guarentees. if youve been duped by "autoway honda clearwater 17275 us highway 19 north " in anyway please call or email the better business bueara of pinnellas park florida or the attorney generals office of florida for help.

went way over msrp

i went to this dealership to get a 2008 honda fit sport and was armed with all of the info i could find on the web. the sales rep marked the car up 700 over the sticker price. when i asked what the markup was for and why it went up from the car to the sales office the sales rep refused to answer me. they asked 21,000.00 total for a 16,000.00 car!!i asked for an explination as to why the cost was so very high on a car with a 16.000 msrp again and was told someone else would buy the car if i did not...i ended up walking out of the dealership very unhappy and found the exact same car at ed voyles for 18,000.00 with plain numbers and no hidden and unexplained costs. do not recommend this honda dealership if you want to get a new honda.
