Situated along the beautiful Rio Grande, the RIo Grande Nature Center State Park is an ideal location for viewing the region's many species of wildlife in their natural surroundings. Hiking trails head out from the small, educationally-focused nature center, and there are many outdoor programs and events that take place in the park. The park is on the northwest side of the city, east of the river and close to the famous Petroglyph National Monument.
Open daily 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m; Nature Center open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
